Another Planet, Dreamed ??-??-??

This was a really strange dream I had years ago but it has always stuck with me.

I was on the front steps of a building waiting for the bus to pick me up to go to a strip club. The bus pulled up and all of the people in it looked sickly and miserable. Someone mentioned that their appearance was a result of being on another planet without oxygen for 2 hours. I got on the bus and was brought to a skyscraper in the middle of a city somewhere.

In the building there was a line going up the stairs to the top floor. A friend of my was tending to the door to the movie theater on the top floor. Another friend and I went into the theater to watch the show. I can't remember what movie was playing, but it wasn't a normal movie. During the show I could see someone wheeling a cart into the corner of the front of the room.

They paused the show and turned the lights back on and asked for a volunteer to come up of the front by the person with the cart. The person who wheeled out the car held up a brown piece of material and then swished it around in a big bowl of water on the cart. He told us that it was now sulfuric acid. He then grabbed the volunteer and shoved their face into the bowl.

When they shut the lights off and turned the movie back on they were preparing some other sort of demonstration in the front of the room. My friend and I were scared as to what they wanted to do and quietly got up and left.

In the lobby we realized that we were locked in and that the building was starting to shake. It was about to launch and take us to another planet. She and I began to panic, the feel of the dream at this point was frantic. We took the receptionist's newspaper and threw it at the door to break the glass. She was mad that we ruined her newspaper so we threw a bunch of money at her to replace it. My friend and I escaped and rode bikes through the city to get out. There was a lot of road construction going on at the time.
