I was at a shopping/residential complex with a bunch of people. There were stores and old houses and a bunch of other random buildings. I was grocery shopping with my mom when I felt a pinch on my back. I went to check and found a small bug latched on to the outside of my shirt. It was beetle shaped and had two pincers shaped like 'L's coming from the bottom of it's body. The 'L's were facing away from one another. The bugs would stick their little 'L' pincers into you skin so they were hard to get out. The bugs were all different shapes and sizes but had the same coloring.
I pulled the bug off and it really hurt. All of a sudden I felt more pinches and notices I had a lot more bugs attached to me. I was trying to get them all off. By this point I was freaking out because I hate bugs. Someone mentioned that the bugs ate rare earth elements and that's why they were so abundant here. I spent the rest of the dream trying to get rid of the bugs. Though they were supposed to be everywhere, I didn't notice anyone else covered in them.
At one point I realized a small bug had gotten under the skin in the palm of my right hand. There was a bump under my skin. I asked someone to get it out for me. They didn't believe me since my skin was too soft. Apparently the bugs like to burrow into rough surfaces.
There was a house in the complex where a bunch of younger people were living. The cops were coming through to bust up a party. I went through the hallway to warn some of the kids. By the time I got there mostly everyone had left. In the last room at the end of the hall two people were poking their heads out from the door. I told them that the cops were coming and they got very flustered. They thought they were going to get in trouble for being roommates of the opposite sex. They made it a point to let me know that they were both gay. I told them the real reason the cops were here and I carried they both down the back stairwell.
