Not a Welcome Home, Dreamed 9-22-11

I was at an apartment complex that had a pool. The building was separated from the pool by a set of wide, stadium style concrete steps. The pool area was fenced in. The stairs and the area around the pool was covered with assorted junk.

I noticed sample patterns on the pool water when I looked at it through a blanket.

In the apartment I couldn't turn on the lights. The eventually came on automatically. There were photographs all around of the girl who lived next door to my family when we were kids and Disney characters.

In the living room was a Christmas tree surrounded by presents. There was also a stocking hanging from something. I dumped the stocking out on the floor and there were many little packages inside. A small silver ball started to chase me around the apartment. It wouldn't stop moving and I knew that if it got me it would keep going until it bored a hole through my body.
