I was leaning against a swimming pool that came up to about my armpits. It was only deep enough to fill it with a foot and a half of water. It was L shaped, the size of a standard rectangle pool and looked like it was made out of black marble speckled with white. They was also a bridge over the short leg of the L. The pool was inside a house. The room it was in was scattered with clothing and other random objects on the floor. There were also a few people milling about the room.
The pool was filled with scalding hot water. A dog and two little gum creatures were swimming around in it. I was afraid that the gum creatures would get lost in the pool or eaten. At one point I think I was also in the pool.
I went to go with some random guy to change our clothes. He told a friend of mine that he could use the back room to change since we were going to change in the bathroom. We were both changing in the bathroom (among other things) when my mom bust open the door. I got freaked out and curled into the fetal position on the floor.
I went back to the room where the pool was trying to collect my belongings. I found one of my guinea pigs buried in a pile of clothing on the floor.
I was walking home when I passed two African people selling raffle tickets. The tickets were attached to random objects contained in a fish tank. There was a small vase, some really strange stuffed dolls, tiki idols and other trinkets. The guy I was with bought us two tickets. The first ticket was on the bottom of the vase. The 'lottery number' was actually one number and a bunch of television show names. It took the lady a while to decode what prize the ticket corresponded to.
We ended up winning a glass tree about a foot tall. It was clear with red apples on the branches. All of the prizes were in a china cabinet. The lady was about to move on to her next customer when the guy I was with reminded her that we still had one more ticket to choose.
